This is very spot on.

I'm going through my quarter life crisis. I started a public blog, I want to do video. I want to write but at the same time, I love to create and be logical (I know it's a juxtaposition). Yet, I'm going out there and trying to learn all that I can.

I have ideas, I just have to formulate my thoughts correctly.

<em>Cynthia's last blog post..<a href='http://www.loveselfentirely.com/2008/05/battle-of-the-m.html' rel="nofollow">Battle Of The Mirror</a></em>

That last one is soooooo true - we get pulled in so many directions, it's hard to just stop and listen to what your inner talent and voice are saying. Though at 52 I still not sure what I want to be when I grow up -- but I suppose I'm pretty good at some things, and finally in place where I can accept that I'm good at a few little things and that is ok - I don't need to make a huge splash in the world - just be the best me that I am. :)

This is a very interesting read and very true too. I've been wondering what I'm actually good at and this post has given me an idea on where to start looking. Thanks.

This has been a large part of my problem. I can do about anything, but none of it is really my calling. I guess the phrase jack of all trades and master of none really applies to me. I have been coming into my own lately the past year.

Wow. First of all, your blog is fantastic - what a great read and what a find for someone like myself (a 23-year old young woman who consistently needs all the advice she can get!).

Thank you for sharing :) I'll definitely continue reading!

... I like the try new things approach. It's so similiar to doing experiments, except the world
is our laboratory. If one interest doesn't seem to be your talent.Follow another interest,
complete another experiment. All the while, you're learning, growing, and discovering other
hidden talents as well.

-- It's amazes me that whenever I'm searching for something I've misplaced.I always
find other things that I looked for previously, but couldn't find!

You have an absolutely beautiful voice, and wisdom beyond your years.

Found you through 20SB, and I'll definitely be back.

@ Shamelle: *cringe* A career in medicine?! The people who WANT to be in med school suffer enough - imagine someone who doesn't! Hmm.. a doctor who does art on the side perhaps? :) Hopefully she follows the path that is ultimately good for her.
