I created this site to invite you to walk “In My Heels” as I talk about growing pains, personal development, self help, and feel-good mantras.
I wanted to write for other women like me but why stop there? Even if you don’t wear heels
perhaps there might be something in here that you can use.
The Site
InMyHeels.com is a personal development site dedicated to providing you with solid advice and bits of wisdom in all things YOU and the life that you live. I am a strong believer in positive thinking and loving life. I am learning so much through my discoveries as an early twenty-something. I feel fortunate to have learned so early in my life that this life is what you make it. So with this passion for life coupled up with the Friend in me, I dedicate myself to providing you with articles and resources in topics such as:
- Life
- Love
- New Beginnings
- Happiness
- Friendships
- Body and Image
- Productivity
- Money
- Career
- Motivation
- Peace and Balance
- Loss and Beyond
I speak in my own voice through every article I post, and I write with you in mind. There is a very deep importance in providing organic, useful information because the ultimate goal is to help you discover and improve your quality of life.
The JEM Behind It
My name is JEMi and I am the creator and writer behind InMyHeels.com. I am a college student residing in New York. I created this website in response to my sheer fascination with personal growth and the healing effects of writing. You see, I lost the love of my life February 2007. My husband passed away at the tender age of 22 and this tragedy catapulted me into the grossly unfamiliar world of depression, anxiety, and loneliness. However, I was fortunate to know and be loved by him because he has taught me a very great deal about love and life. His passing will never be for naught - not if I have anything to do with it. My husband’s deep belief in me, my abilities, love, and personal development lives on. It sparked my search for more out of this life. Nothing tends to my aching heart like reaching out to others and perhaps touching their lives however I can the way he and his family touched mine. There’s nothing like feeling incredibly lost… and being given a small flicker of hope. A touch of assistance. A suggestion that helps spark YOUR brainstorm into your next step. He touched my life and now, hopefully, I’ll be able to touch yours. Even if it IS just a useful little tip
From the bottom of heart, THANK YOU for stopping by www.InMyHeels.com.
